Flight Time Calculator
Fill in the values and the answer updates as you type.
How the Flight Time Calculator works
Flight time = distance ÷ cruising speed + a fixed allowance for taxi, climb, and descent. Wind can change the real time by an hour or more, which is why eastbound flights are often quicker. Airline schedules also include buffer time. Example: with the default values, 5,000 km at 850 km/h plus 30 minutes comes to about 6.4 hours.
