This policy explains what information toolshere.biz.id handles when you visit the site, use a calculator, or send us a message, and the choices you have. We keep data collection small on purpose: no accounts, and calculator inputs stay in your browser.
01Summary
- Numbers you enter into calculators are processed in your browser and are not sent to or stored on our servers.
- We do not require an account, and we do not sell personal information.
- If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you type.
- Advertising is provided by Google AdSense, which uses cookies and similar technologies.
- Our hosting provider keeps routine server logs for security and troubleshooting.
02Information you give us
Calculator inputs. Values you type into a calculator are used by code running on your device to produce the result. They are not transmitted to us and we cannot see them.
Contact form and email. When you use the Contact page, we receive your name, email address, chosen subject, and message. We use them only to read your message, reply, investigate a reported error, and keep a record of the correspondence. Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive details. We never need them.
03Information collected automatically
| Item | Purpose | Where it lives | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
Theme choice (th) | Remembers light or dark display | Your browser’s local storage | Until you clear site data |
View counter cookie (v_…) | Counts one visit per tool per visitor in a short window, so page view numbers are not inflated by refreshes | Your browser (first-party cookie) | 30 minutes |
| Aggregate view counts | Shows how often a tool is opened | A file on our server holding page totals only | Ongoing, no personal data |
| Contact form rate limit | Blocks spam by limiting how many messages one connection can send per hour | Our server, stored as a one-way hash, not your IP address | About 1 hour |
| Server logs | Security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting | Our hosting provider | Set by the provider |
| Advertising cookies | Serve and measure ads (see below) | Your browser, set by Google and partners | Set by Google |
The view counter ignores requests that identify themselves as bots or crawlers. Standard server logs normally include your IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested, and the time of the request.
04Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. These cookies let Google and its partners recognize your browser, limit how often you see an ad, and measure whether ads work.
- Opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.
- Opt out of many third-party ad vendors at aboutads.info.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Where the law requires consent (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), personalized ads should only be shown after you agree, and you can change that choice later.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop calculators from working, but you may still see ads that are not personalized, and your theme choice may reset.
05How we use information
- To operate the site and show calculator results.
- To answer questions, fix reported errors, and consider feature requests.
- To keep the site secure and block spam and abuse.
- To understand which tools are used, using aggregate counts only.
- To fund the site through advertising.
- To meet legal obligations.
06Legal bases (EEA, UK)
Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, we rely on: legitimate interests for security logs, spam prevention, and replying to messages; consent for personalized advertising cookies where required; and legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
07Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share contact messages for marketing. Information may be handled by:
- Hosting and email providers that run the site and deliver messages sent through the contact form.
- Google and its advertising partners, through AdSense, as described above.
- Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or when needed to protect the site, our users, or others from fraud, abuse, or harm.
08How long we keep information
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to answer you and handle follow-up, and are then deleted or archived for a limited period, generally no longer than 12 months. Rate-limit records last about an hour. Server logs follow our hosting provider’s retention schedule. Aggregate view counts contain no personal data and are kept as long as the tool exists.
09International transfers
The site is available worldwide. Our hosting, email, and advertising providers may process data in countries other than your own, including countries whose data protection rules differ from yours. Where required, such providers rely on recognized safeguards for these transfers.
10Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and internal data folders are not publicly accessible. No online service can promise perfect security, so please share only what you need to when you write to us.
11Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
- To make a request, use the Contact page and choose Privacy or data request. Use the same email address you wrote to us from, so we can find your message.
- We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we aim to respond within 30 days.
- We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.
- We do not “sell” personal information as the term is defined in California law. Advertising cookies set by Google are covered by Google’s own controls linked above.
Do Not Track. Browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal in different ways and there is no common standard for responding to it, so the site does not change its behavior based on that signal. Use the opt-out links above for advertising choices.
12Children
This site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13Links to other sites
Pages may link to or display content from other sites, including advertisers. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them. Check their policies before sharing information.
14Changes to this policy
We will post updates on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. For significant changes, we will make the notice more prominent. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
15Contact
